Former UFC fighter Elias Theodoro has died at the age of 34, with media reporting that Canadian stage 4 was battling liver cancer.
Theodoro, who died Sunday, fought in 22 bouts in mixed martial arts, including 11 (8-3 record) at the UFC in the middleweight division.
Representatives of Theodorou confirmed his death to TSN.
He made his professional debut in 2011 and won the UFC contract by winning The Ultimate Fighter in 2014.
His last professional bout was a win over Brian Baker in Colorado in December 2021.
The Canadian had never made details of his long-term illness public, but reports had emerged that Theodoru was battling stage four liver cancer. However it was confirmed that Theodorou.
